Recently I had to opportunity to work with the lovely ladies at Lash Music. They reached out to me to build a sort-able, searchable music library based on chosen emotions. I thought this sounded like an exciting experience and took it on right away. Lash is a music licensing company that licenses songs to be used by various companies is TV spots, commercials, and movies. They wanted users the ability to find a song based on emotions and genres. So we build a database of all of their available music with the appropriate meta tags. Then using various code libraries I was able to create an engaging search engine that allowed the clients to search for, listen to, and download files directly. Furthermore, this site had to be secure, so we had to create a simple identity management and login to protect their files.
